I made my first fund raising goal of $100 before January 31!!! I am at $135. I have started a couple spin classes in addition to the workouts I was already doing. I rode 15 miles Friday night on an indoor stationary bike, so not equal to 15 road miles, but is a good start.
Still a long way to go to $2500 (My goal is $1200, but if I raise $2500 I’ll be riding the whole 135 miles in 2 days instead of just 75 miles in one :-))
If anyone uses Mary Kay products or knows someone who does, my consultant is giving me a hefty percentage of all orders that come through me. She is making zero profit on any of them. It all will go to the ride to conquer cancer.
I’ve got a few more fund raiser ideas in the works too. I’ll let you know about them along the way. Of course anyone can always don ate directly to my ride by going to my page:
